It may take some days to recover from a heatwave. You should continue to take care of yourself and others, including animals. Maximum temperatures in the mid to high thirties with overnight minimums in the mid twenties over the Tiwi Islands. The peak of the severe heatwave conditions has now passed, but low-intensity heatwave conditions will persist over parts of northern NT over the coming days.
