Cancellation Of Severe Weather Warning

for Northern Rivers, Mid North Coast and Northern Tablelands Forecast Districts.

Damaging winds have eased.

Weather Situation
A series of low pressure systems remain over the Tasman Sea. A secondary low that was moving northwards just offshore from the NSW coast has weakened and winds over elevated terrain have eased.
cancellation of severe weather warning for the following areas:
Northern Rivers, Mid North Coast and Northern Tablelands
Damaging winds are no longer occurring over elevated terrain of the Northern Tablelands, Mid North Coast and Northern Rivers, and the Severe Weather Warning for these areas is cancelled.
A separate Coastal Hazard Warning for Damaging Surf remains current for parts of the NSW coast. Refer to: http://www.bom.gov.au/nsw/warnings/

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't walk, ride or drive through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
* Stay vigilant and monitor conditions. Note that the landscape may have changed following bushfires.

No further warnings will be issued for this event.
