Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology New South Wales TOP PRIORITY FOR IMMEDIATE BROADCAST Cancellation Of Severe Weather Warning for Illawarra and South Coast Forecast Districts. Issued at 7:47 pm Tuesday, 4 November 2025. Damaging wind gusts no longer expected. Weather Situation A low pressure system west of Tasmania is moving east as a cold front moves further off the NSW coast into the Tasman Sea. These two systems are combining to produce strong west to northwesterly flow over parts of eastern NSW. Please check https://www.bom.gov.au/weather-and-climate/warnings-and-alerts/. 94 km/h wind gust recorded at Bellambi at 4:28 pm. 96 km/h wind gust recorded at Shellharbour Airport at 2:13 pm. 102 km/h wind gust recorded at Badgerys Creek Airport at 1:08 pm. The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Keep clear of fallen power lines. * Don't walk, ride or drive through flood water. * Keep clear of creeks and storm drains. * Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road. * Stay vigilant and monitor conditions. Note that the landscape may have changed following bushfires. No further warnings will be issued for this event.
