for Lord Howe Island

DAMAGING SURF EASING LATER TODAY

Weather Situation
A deep low pressure system, located to the east-southeast of of the island, is continuing to move southwards.
DAMAGING SURF with waves exceeding 5 metres in the surf zone, particularly about east-southeast facing beaches, easing later today.

- Stay out of the water and stay well away from surf-exposed areas.
- Check your property regularly for erosion or inundation by sea water, and if necessary raise goods and electrical items
