Issued at 8:26 am Sunday, 30 November 2025. Isolated storms persist over the Gulf Country, but are no longer expected to be severe. Weather Situation Slow moving thunderstorms continue about parts of the Gulf Country this morning, particularly along the coast. Please check www.bom.gov.au/australia/warnings/. 119.0 MM WAS RECORDED AT CLARAVILLE IN THE 3 HOURS TO 4:00 AM 92.0 MM WAS RECORDED AT PROSPECT IN THE 60 MINUTES TO 2:03 AM. 93.0 mm was recorded at Yappar Junction in the 2 hours to 5:17 am. 73.8 mm was recorded at Normanton Airport in the 60 minutes to 02:52 am Emergency services advise people to: * Never drive, walk, play or ride through floodwater. It is dangerous. * Stay away from storm water drains. * Stay away from fallen powerlines. * Drive slowly and never drive through floodwaters.
