Cancellation Of Severe Weather Warning

for Upper South East and Lower South East districts.

Issued at 4:32 pm Wednesday, 22 October 2025.

Damaging wind gusts have now eased over southeastern South Australia.

Weather Situation
Conditions have now eased across the southeast, as the deep low that generated a vigorous flow today shifts eastwards across Bass Strait.
cancellation of severe weather warning for the following areas:
Upper South East and Lower South East
This warning is now cancelled. Other warnings may be current. Please check www.bom.gov.au/australia/warnings/.
Significant wind gusts to 4:30 pm ACDT:
94 km/h at Mt Gambier at 12:10 pm.
93 km/h at Naracoorte at 11:01 am.
95 km/h at Robe at 9:49 am.
93 km/h at Cape Jaffa at 9:41 am.
90 km/h at Palmer at 8:40 am.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines;
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.

No further warnings will be issued for this event.
